If you have been affected by the floods as a household or community organisation you can make a grant application with a deadline extended to April 1st 2016: Bradford-Flood-Appeal-Application-form1 (7). Individuals can apply for up to £250 and community groups up to £2000 Community Groups Application .

On Boxing Day storm Eva brought unprecedented rainfall to the Bradford District, the highest levels for 42 years. Hundreds of homes were flooded in Apperley Bridge, Baildon, Bingley, Crossflatts, Esholt, Haworth, Ilkley, Keighley, Riddlesden, Shipley and Stockbridge. Over time insurance will cover many of the costs but people need help now:

Businesses in Baildon BridgeTo clean up.

To buy emergency supplies.

To find temporary accommodation.

To replace ruined goods and equipment.

Any donations you make will be used to provide financial support for the most vulnerable in the Bradford District.

The Bradford District Community Fund (BDCF) is a registered charity that raises money and then distributes it, in the form of grants, to local community projects and charities throughout the Bradford District. We support a wide range of community projects – supporting the young and the old and all ages in between; providing funding for ongoing activities, one-off projects or special events. We have achieved so much in such a short period of time but we still have a long way to go. Please help BDCF to get the support it needs to change people’s lives.
Just for clarity BDCF are operating under the charity banner of the Leeds Community Foundation and can guarantee that any funds raised will remain in the Bradford District, benefiting local people. As well as giving money there are a wide range of ways you can help.    We are happy to speak about the appeal at community events, functions and faith based activities in Mosques, Churches and Temples.
I do hope you will support us, you can send us a cheque made payable to “Bradford District Community Fund” (if you are a UK taxpayer please also complete a Bradford Gift Aid Declaration Form to add 20% to your donation at no cost to you Bradford Gift Aid Declaration Form) or you can donate online right now Bradford District Flood Appeal.

Please do give as generously as you can. Thank you for your support of the Bradford District Flood appeal.Esholt
