Winter Warmth Community Grants Scheme
Bradford District Community Fund is launching a new Winter Warmth Community Grants Scheme from November 2015. This scheme is funded by Bradford Council through the Warm Homes Health People Partnership. The aim of the fund is to support a range of community-based projects that help support people who may be vulnerable or become vulnerable to the impacts of cold weather during the winter months. The scheme runs together with programmes such as Be-neighbourly and the Warm Homes Healthy People (WHHP) programme. Last year the fund helped out community associations and charitable groups who were keen to develop a neighbourhood or street project in their area. This year funding is available for up to £1,500 per successful project. The project must take place between week commencing 18th of January 2016 and the 31st of March 2016 – with all funding spent within this timeframe.
Applicants need to be voluntary or community groups, charities or social enterprises. We cannot make grants directly to individuals, statutory organisations or commercial entities. You can apply for a grant up to a maximum of £1,500.
Your organisation does not need to be based in the Bradford District but the project you apply for must benefit residents of the Bradford District.
